The course
A short round with a mountain view
Boulder Oak is three par threes on the eight acres at Mountain Retreat, at the foot of Iron Mountain. The tees are dirt, the targets are DiscSport Star baskets, and the fairways wind between granite and oak.
It is short enough for a first-timer to finish and still worth another go before dinner. Play a quick round with the kids, or make a tournament of it with the whole group and keep the scores on UDisc.
The holes
Three tees. Three baskets.
The layout is called Main 3 holes. Every hole is a par three.

Good to know
Before you tee off
It is a mountain property, so the ground is part of the game. Good shoes make the round a lot more fun.
